The jumper landed on the busy intersection of Brookdale and Herbert Boulevards in Monroe Township, and was found dead by an officer who responded to the scene.
Witnesses in the neighborhood described hearing a loud noise and seeing a parachute swirling through the air. A woman who lives a block away, Sharon Spera, said she ran out to the backyard and saw the shredded parachute. She called her husband, Angelo, who drove by the scene and called 911.
